Once one of the flagships of the Government of Angola, now withdrawn from use at Luanda Airport, Angola. The aircraft (GIII, c/n 474) has not a real exiting history as it served one owner during its whole career. Registered to Gulfstream Aerospace Corp., Savannah (GA) as N311GA in December 1985 it was delivered ‘green’ in May 1986. In April 1987 it was registered to the Government of Angola (Lineas Aereas de Angola) and the, still current, registration D2-ECB was applied. The brand new GIII was named 'Cunene', which is a province of Angola. The Cunene River gave its name to the province.

The last indication that the aircraft was still active was found on a picture from September 9, 2011.

A picture from November 7, 2012 shows the D2-ECB withdrawn from use at Luanda Airport between other parked aircraft. It looks a little bit if it has a flat tire. A current Google Maps overview pictures the GIII still in the same position in the Southern part of the airport.
